¡Hola! Soy Olivia, una artista 2D, y me emociona compartir con ustedes mi primer juego de JAM desarrollado para la Woman Game Jam 2024. Este juego, titulado Guardian of Time: The Kageru Legacy, fue creado en un lapso de 48 horas, utilizando RPG Maker para el desarrollo y Clip Studio Paint para el arte. Además, conté con la ayuda de la inteligencia artificial (ChatGPT) para desarrollar mejor la historia y facilitar la traducción, ya que el juego está disponible en español e inglés.

Guardian of Time: The Kageru Legacy te sumerge en una aventura llena de decisiones cruciales. Como la última descendiente de un antiguo linaje élfico, tu misión es proteger las líneas temporales y evitar desastres que podrían alterar el curso de la historia. Deberás investigar pistas para tomar las decisiones correctas, ya que cualquier error podría desviar el destino.

Tu objetivo es salvar a Shiro, el gatito de Aran Sylea, el héroe legendario destinado a salvar el mundo. Si no logras protegerlo cuando es solo un niño de un incendio, Aran podría perder la motivación y su destino de héroe se desvanecerá. Como guardiana del tiempo, estás atrapada en un bucle temporal, y cada vez que sientas que has tomado una decisión equivocada, puedes reiniciar el bucle gracias a un sello élfico transmitido a través de generaciones.

El juego se centra en tres mecánicas clave: encontrar pistas, tomar decisiones cruciales y reiniciar el bucle temporal si es necesario. Con tres posibles finales, tu habilidad para navegar este intrincado desafío decidirá el destino del mundo.

Hello! I'm Olivia, a 2D artist and an amateur Game Designer. I'm thrilled to share with you my first JAM game developed for the Woman Game Jam 2024. This game, titled Guardian of Time: The Kageru Legacy, was created within 48 hours, using RPG Maker for development and Clip Studio Paint for the artwork. Additionally, I received help from artificial intelligence (ChatGPT) to enhance the story and assist with translations, as the game is available in both Spanish and English.

Guardian of Time: The Kageru Legacy immerses you in an adventure full of crucial decisions. As the last descendant of an ancient elven lineage, your mission is to protect the timelines and prevent disasters that could alter the course of history. You'll need to investigate clues to make the right choices, as any mistake could change fate.

Your goal is to save Shiro, the kitten of Aran Sylea, the legendary hero destined to save the world. If you fail to protect him from a fire when he is just a child, Aran might lose his motivation, and his heroic destiny could fade away. As a guardian of time, you're trapped in a time loop, and whenever you feel you've made a wrong decision, you can reset the loop thanks to an elven seal passed down through generations.

The game focuses on three key mechanics: finding clues, making crucial decisions, and resetting the time loop if needed. With three possible endings, your ability to navigate this intricate challenge will determine the world's fate.
